National AI Registry

TERMS OF USE

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE NATIONAL AI REGISTRY.

By accessing, browsing or using the National AI Registry (the "Registry" or "Platform"), whether as a Visitor or a registered Provider, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Registry. If you are accessing or using the Registry on behalf of a company, organisation or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" refers to that entity.

1. ABOUT THE REGISTRY

1.1 The National AI Registry is a curated online directory that connects citizens, developers and enterprises with verified Artificial Intelligence solutions. It is the official AI directory for Mauritius and is open to users in the Republic of Mauritius and across Africa.

1.2 The Registry is owned and operated by Mauritius Telecom Limited ("MT"), a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Mauritius, with registered office at Telecom Tower, Edith Cavell Street, Port Louis, Mauritius.

1.3 The Registry enables registered AI Solution Providers ("Providers"), whether organisations or individuals, to submit AI solutions for review and, upon approval, have them listed in the directory with relevant details including industry classification, AI capabilities, deployment model, maturity level and solution type. It enables visitors and enterprises ("Visitors") to browse, search, filter and discover listed AI solutions, and to express interest by submitting a contact form so that the relevant Provider may respond directly.

1.4 The Registry is a directory and lead-generation platform only. MT does not develop, sell, licence, deploy, host, operate, endorse, recommend or guarantee any AI solution listed on the Registry. Any engagement between a Visitor and a Provider is a matter exclusively between those parties and is not the responsibility of MT.

2. DEFINITIONS

3. ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION

3.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3.4 MT reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate any account at its discretion.

4. PROVIDER OBLIGATIONS

4.1 All Content submitted must be accurate, up-to-date and not misleading.

4.2 You must not submit Content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates any law, or contains malicious code.

4.3 You grant MT a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and distribute your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Registry.

4.4 You are solely responsible for the AI solutions you list, including their functionality, compliance with applicable laws and any claims made about them.

5. LISTING REVIEW AND PUBLICATION

5.1 All submitted AI solutions are subject to review by MT before publication. MT may approve, reject or request amendments to any submission at its sole discretion.

5.2 Approval of a Listing does not constitute endorsement, certification or guarantee of the AI solution by MT or by the Government of Mauritius.

5.3 MT may unpublish or remove any Listing at any time without notice if it determines, in its reasonable judgment, that the Listing is inaccurate, outdated, misleading or in breach of these Terms.

6. TRUST TIERS AND VERIFICATION

7. VISITOR USE

7.1 Visitors may browse, search and filter Listings free of charge.

7.2 Visitors may submit a contact or interest form to request information from a Provider. By doing so, the Visitor consents to their name, email and enquiry being shared with the relevant Provider.

7.3 Any subsequent engagement, contract or transaction between a Visitor and a Provider is solely between those parties. MT is not a party to, and accepts no liability for, any such arrangement.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

8.2 Content submitted by Providers remains the intellectual property of the respective Provider, subject to the licence granted in section 4.3.
